"SKETCH IT NOW" WITH LESLIE FEHLING Leslie’s sketchbook journaling workshops have proven so popular that we’re bringing her back for more! More fun projects, page layouts, border designs and lettering styles to bring your sketchbook pages to life. She’ll give you lots of great ideas for incorporating sketching into your everyday life and show you how to create exciting sketchbook pages that are filled with colorful images, beautiful hand-lettering, and interesting page designs. Leslie's thoughtfully designed guided projects will provide a framework in which to create, but you are encouraged to add your personal style to every page — the secret to boundless sketching joy is to making each and every image your very own. As part of this workshop, you'll receive an ILLUSTRATED HANDBOOK which includes Leslie's famous “Boo-Boo Bible” which provides a variety of strategies for dealing with the inevitable surprises that crop up when we’re sketching. Enthusiasm and encouragement are the hallmarks of Leslie’s teaching style, along with an ability to help each student over the hurdles they encounter along the way. Her delight in watercolor sketching is contagious, and this workshop is guaranteed to give your sketching practice a dose of renewed inspiration. (Level: Beginner to Intermediate. Students should have intermediate sketching skills and basic watercolor skills.) * Please note that this is a TWO DAY WORKSHOP that runs from 9am to 4pm with a one hour lunch break. Students are responsible for bringing their own supplies and lunch. A supply list will be sent to you well before the scheduled workshop dates.
