This is another workshop in Nancy Marlin Snyder's very popular FAST PACED 4-hour acrylic painting classes, suitable for beginners and intermediate level artists. In this 1-day, 4-hour workshop you will create your own take on these delightful beach birds as they enjoy a relaxed and bountiful life on a sun-drenched Florida beach. As in all of Nancy's acrylic workshops, she will cover not only the basics of acrylic painting, including color theory, perspective, lighting, and brush technique, but she will also share her exclusive tips & tricks — techniques that have established her as one of the area's leading acrylic paint instructors. By the workshop's end, you will have created your own rendering of these happy, water-loving, big birds enjoying their best life. The class fee includes all the required supplies, including acrylic paints, brushes, and 1 canvas. Feel free to bring any extra brushes or pigments that you may have . We will be painting on an 11X14 canvas. This class begins at 10am and runs until 2:00pm. There will be a half-hour break for lunch. Be sure to bring a sandwich or sack lunch for the short lunch break. The Carriage House Studio provides bottled water, multiple coffee & cocoa selections, and various types of snack bars to keep your energy up for this brisk, rewarding workshop.
