"GUS & HIS LONG-LEGGED GIRLFRIENDS" is the subject of Nancy Marlin Snyder's FAST PACED 4-hour acrylic painting workshop, suitable for beginners and intermediate artists. In this 1-day, 4-hour class we will create a whimsical painting of Gus the stork and his four very lovely, very colorful, girlfriends. As in all of Nancy's acrylic workshops, we will cover the basics of acrylic painting, including color theory, perspective, lighting, brush technique, and Nancy's exclusive tips & tricks that have established her as one of the area's leading acrylic paint instructors. By the workshop's end, you will have painted Gus and his lady friends in a lively five-panel work that shows off your acrylic acumen. The class fee includes all the required supplies, including acrylic paints and brushes. But do feel free to bring any extra brushes or pigments that you may have . This class begins at 10am and runs until 2:00pm. There will be a half-hour break for lunch. Be sure to bring a sandwich or sack lunch for the short lunch break. The Carriage House Studio provides bottled water, multiple coffee & cocoa selections, and various types of snack bars to keep your energy up for this brisk, rewarding workshop.
