Noteworthy

My work is an interpretation of life’s everyday events. When I begin a painting I engage the surface of the substrate with graphite, markers and pencils to create textures and lines that eventually become a history beneath the surface of the image. My intent is to create an image that is compelling to the viewer and allows them to make their own interpretation of the painting.

I like to create my own still life arrangements for my watercolor art. This piece in particular is a vintage tea set with sunflowers.
